Day 2 In ICU. and so glad to have my heart pillow. ( had my mitral valve repair done early morning March 3rd My mitral valve surgery and ASD repair went well. Now to the recovery. I am in a cardio wing of hospital now and Doctors may release me... Read more.

Thanks you guys. I am so glad to have surgery complete and happy to look forward to a stronger heart and better life. I know lots of steps ahead, and I'll find some challenges. Everyone at Mercy Hospital, from my surgeon, Dr. David Hockmuth, to the ICU and step up... Read more.

Hmmmm this may seem small-minded, but I'm really jealous of the size of your heart pillow, mine from the Renowned Cleveland Clinic is MUCH smaller. I guess its more portable than yours, but as we have all been reminded recently, SIZE IS EVERYTHING, so my insane jealousy is justified. Jeez... Read more.
