About Me

After a few years of occasional PVCs I started to notice they were more becoming more frequent and I was getting lightheaded. An echo and stress test was ordered, stress test was normal but echo showed I have a bicuspid aortic valve. I've never had a murmur. From there I had a TEE and a heart cath. Regurgitation is severe. I have always been active, l was surprised my valve could be in such bad shape yet I didn't realize it. After meeting Dr. Svensson in mid May we are going to wait and do another echo in 6 months. He thinks there's a chance for repair instead of replacement.
