Happy Thanksgiving all! 4 1/2 months post op and first race since surgery in the books. Feeling fantastic! Positive vibes going out to each and every one of you in your journeys.

2 weeks post aortic valve repair today. Treated myself to 3 1/2 miles of trails instead of pavement pounding. Beautiful Colorado day!

This was right before discharge. Had to get a photo with my surgeon. He's a busy guy so I take what I can get!

So happy for you that you are doing so well. God Bless you and I wish you a speedy recovery. I am awaiting a call back from Dr Svensson any day now. AVR 2 years ago, and now mod- severe leak. I hear he has a wonderful reputation!🤞🏻❤️

Jeanette, hope you hear back real soon. So sorry you are already coming back after 2 years. I was pleasantly surprised to get a call back within a week of sending my stuff to him. Was fully expecting them to take the whole 3 weeks or whatever they normally say.... Read more.
