Send Leslie a NoteAbout Me
On August 2nd I was diagnosed with mild-moderate COPD....A few days later I had a CT scan...on the 9th my lung doctor told me I had an enlarged heart. 10 days later I was in the hospital being shocked to get my a--fib (140 beats per minute in check) It worked for a few hours discharged and by chance had my first cardio exam the same day. Found out I have right side enlargement leaky mitral (3-4) and tricuspid (2-3). I went back to the hospital again shocked again to get my 140 plus a fib in check, Did not work. Got ablation surgery on the following Tuesday. Heart rate is good and steady...some heart pounding and my pulse rate is about 75+ compared to 85 before surgery. I am on concor 5 Mg. I had Hodgkin's Lymphoma when I was 17 now and have some lung damage from radiation resulting in moderated COPD.
