Me in 2012...When I was happy and healthier....with no idea I would be in the shape I am in today....I would pass out drinking a beer today....

This an educational picture. This started as a small umbilical hernia. I think the abdomen wall is also herniated. My biggest regret in life was not fixing this 20 years ago....

Hello Leslie, don't panic. l had to go for surgery to remove 2 impacted molars and 2 premolars.1 year three months after aortic valve replacement. my inr became unstable but l came out aright. a prayer and positive mind helped in my case and the experienced doctors. all the best.
Can you get the hernia repaired first? I also had a severely enlarged left atrium. It returned to normal size on echo 8 weeks after mitral repair which is a common outcome.

Steve...thanks for your post. I am not sure what to do....I am not even sure if all that mass is a hernia. part of it is for sure at the navel...the rest of it is soft and painful...more like inflammation....I just need answers...,been to doctor after doctor....and living on meds... Read more.

Oh wow, I think that's bigger than a golf ball. You need to get that fixed. It will keep getting bigger and be harder to repair. Also, there's risk of incarceration or strangulation.
