About Me

In 2009 I was diagnosed with aortic coarctation as well as BAV with an ascending aortic aneurysm - all 52 years in the making since these are all congenital conditions. I immediately received a stent to correct the coarctation on the descending side. I have been monitored closely for the past 8 years and September 2017 I underwent aortic valve and aneurysm replacement surgery at the Cleveland Clinic. I am currently 6 weeks post surgery and feeling great! Can't wait to begin the rehab lab!!
