To be honest that is the cleanest facilityhospital I have ever been in. At least you don't have that far to drive. Right behind you buddy. You next week me the week after.

Thank you Maureen & Dan. Yes, the Mayo Clinic - Phoenix does not seem like all the typical hospitals I've seen in my life. The inside lobby looks more like an Embassy Suites hotel.

You are young and healthy! You'll do great! I'm five weeks post op today. Time has gone by quickly! It will for you, too, and hopefully you'll look back and say "that wasn't so bad".

Richard, thanks for the kind words, especially about the "you are young" part -- pictures are sometimes deceiving. I shaved off my gray goatee for the surgery!! I have read your journal. Sounds like your recovery is going well. I'm looking forward to viewing this surgery "from the other side".
