Went up to NYC to get my labs, EEG, and urine done, and since nothing can go as plannedRBC level in my urine is 3, waiting for the Dr. nurse to call and see what the plan is. As things are planned now, I'll be admitted to NYP on 10/22 so that they can do the angio and see if CABG will be part of the valve replacement on 10/23. My last week at home for a bit, so lots of cleaning to do, a visit with my PCP, and on the day I fly up to NYC, a dentisit visit to get two crowns permanently put in.

Drove up to NYC this wek to meet with Dr. George at NYP. Echo and CTA were done, then the consult. Mini sternotomy is a possibility. Debating on joining the Cardiogard Cannula study. Tentative surgery date is Oct. 23, pending on getting dental clearance. I need to make an appt for a coronary angiogram down here in TN, I already have an appt for my PFT. Keeping my fingers crossed

A friend of mine back from vacation and has cousin's in the surgical field, so I've gotten a few recommendations from her, and NY Presbyterian called me and I'm getting a referral to a surgeon there. Looks like I'm be spending a week or so in the NYC area visiting drs. BTW: The drs are John Goncalves on Long Island and Leonard Girardi at Weil Cornell in NYC
