I was discharged earlier yesterday a little over 5 days after my operation to fix my severe AR. The valve had one leaflet too retracted to repair so the Ross procedure was done, extremely happy so far. Working hard to control BP and pulse in the meantime so that hopefully I can maximize the operation. Dr. Ismail El-Hamamsy has been absolutely amazing, I’m thankful that I was able to get operated at Mount Sinai by him. Between him & Dr. Stelzer Ross patients are in excellent hands. Thank you all so much for the support along the way!
Deena Elani Right on, Prasanth! Yayyyyy. Best feeling ever to be in recovery and HOME.
