About Me

Hello. My name is Scott Kinghorn I was was diagnosed with MVP in 1987. Now at the age of 53 I've discovered the valve is leaking more and a 1 or more of the corde are broken. So I found that Mayo Clinic is the closest hospital that does the minimally evasive robotic surgery so that's where I'm having the repair done. Not sure how Dr. Arghami was assigned to me. To say I'm really nervous about this would be a big understatement. But hey many Mital valves have been successfully repaired and I hope I'm one of them. This websites videos from heart surgeons and pt's have helped. But still freaked out about having my stopped and repaired. I'll you all know how the procedure goes.
