About Me

I have a bicuspid aortic valve. It was a complete surprise. It is an odd feeling to realize something's always been wrong with my heart and I never knew. I am having heart valve surgery on 10/6/21. I am hopeful for a repair but have come to accept that a replacement may be what is heading my way.
