About Me

I had a Minimally Invasive Aortic Valve Replacement (MIAVR) procedure done at the Rocky Mountain Regional VA Medical Center in Aurora, CO. My surgeon was Dr. Michael Cain from UCHealth. I was originally diagnosed with moderate aortic regurgitation, that progressed to severe after six months. I decided to go with a Edwards Inspiris Resilla bioprosthetic valve, and the one implanted into me was a 25 mm valve.
