Day 15. I won't do these as regularly as I ease back into my routine and things aren't changing as much. Left arm pain is getting better. It feels like a strain that somehow involves the radial nerve. I still think the OR team had a betting pool on how far backwards my arm would bend. But I digress. The right side incision sites feel better every day but I can still get a zing if I move in a way that stretches one of them. Energy is good. Not sleeping 100% through the night. I'm still off my Naltrexone and Magnesium which both helped my sleep. I have a visit to PCP Friday to establish a day where I can start driving and resuming my supplements. I've been putting almost full days at work but sticking to my weight restriction. Feels good to use my brain again. Overall it's been a remarkable recovery. Grateful to friends, family and the amazing team at the WVU Heart and Vascular Institute in Morgantown WV, led by Dr Badhwar.

My meeting with Dr Badhwar went very well. They were very pleased that I've been able to walk 7000 steps starting on day 5. No rhythm issues. X-rays looked great. I think my blood pressure is marginally high but I'm going to try to get that down with lifestyle first. I think my recovery is probably lucky and unusual but I'll take it.
