We Specialize in Minimally-Invasive Valve Therapy

The West Virginia University Heart and Vascular Institute has deep expertise in the treatment of valvular heart disease. We specialize in minimally invasive procedure including transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR).

In addition, we use minimally invasive, robotic surgery for mitral valve repairs and coronary artery bypass surgery. By using minimmally invasive, robotic procedures, we are generally able to expedite recovery, and our patients typically experience better outcomes.
