Thank you Peter! Yes, completely blindsided by the diagnosis. But in hindsight, grateful it was found before I have heart damage.

Wow! Peter, so glad you are doing so well! My minimally invasive Mitral Valve Repair is scheduled for 10/12/26. Yes, I am anxious! What has been the hardest part so far for you?

Hi Lori, pain and fatigue on day 2 was the worst when the nerve block wore off. After that I got better pretty quickly. Day 2 they woke me up at 530 for X-ray and I immediately got in the chair and waited for breakfast. Walked that day. I think... Read more.

Thank you Peter! I’m very nervous about the whole thing. Hope I do as well as you! My surgery is scheduled at Stanford Hospital in Northern California. My surgeon is the chief of cardiothoracic surgery there.
