W. Carter Thanks for serving! I also did my boot camp at the Great Lakes training center also. Then I was stationed on the USS Racine LST 1191. I had my heart surgery done at the V.A. Hospital - Dallas Tx. I have had numerous surgeries at the V.A. and I don't have any complaints. They have always treated me great over the last 25 years. I'm still living and walking. :-)
