Hi mates, does anyone know how to improve the immune system naturally, without medication? I know the usual recommendations, like eating fruit, exercising, and so on that helps, but I'm looking for some more you might have noticed in yourselves. I had my lower lymph nodes removed during a cancer surgery, and maybe that affected my immune system.

Fidel Martínez Ruiz Deena, in Burgos, it's usual eat blood sausage in two versions, made with rice (in my village) or with onion in Burgos town, but any time in the year but in summer. It is very cold in winter. The typical of Easter here is a delicious sweet made of bread soaked in milk with cinnamon and lemon peel, after battered in egg and finally fried.

Then, my question is : Are the alcoholic drinks (even low graduation) strictly prohibited when carrying a biological prostheses valve? Thanks so much, friends.

Yumiko Ishida Merry Christmas, Fidel! Just read your story. My mother received a biological prosthetic valve at age 78. In her case it was for her aortic valve, but it was doing just fine 12 years later. My surgeon told me, generally speaking, there is less wear and tear as you get older, so the replacement valve usually lasts longer. So don’t let your valve hold you back!

I had mitral valve replacement with a biological valve (cow) and up to now, all has been all right. Nevertheless, am a little worry because I dont know which food is the right to eat in order to last more the valve prosthese I have implanted, specially meat ( cow, pig, chicken, turkeyi(may have I some list on this topic?. Thak you very much.

Richard Munson Keep in mind, its just my opinion. By the time you are ready for a new valve the technology may have improved considerably so who knows what will be available or you will be so old you won’t care.
