I am a very healthy 58-year-old mother of two boys and wife to a super ambitious, loving husband. I learned I have severe aortic stenosis by chance during a sleep clinic when the pulmonary specialist detected a heart murmur and sent me to Dr. Paresh Mehta at the Windsor/London Heart Clinic. I am lucky it was discovered early, as I am still completely asymptomatic. I do live with the anxiety of this condition hanging over my head, however, especially in the middle of the night. I am so glad to have found this community and want to thank Adam for his vision in creating it. Looking forward to reading more about what lies ahead for me.
