Naomi - I didn't get any guidance other than to not sit in the front seat. I was wearing an incision shield, so that helped with discomfort, but we hit a few pot holes (ahh, DC streets) and let me tell you - those did not feel good. Recovery is... Read more.

Always treat your care team at the end of your stay! They work unbelievably hard, and so some delicious cookies are our go to to get the fabulous nurses, techs, nurse practitioners and affliliated staff.

Nice Alan! Good Idea I will make sure that my wife does something for everyone on my recovery team! Wish there is a way I could do something for the staff that is in the OR with me.

Mike - check with your care nurse when you get there, there may be a way to do that.

Yes, I got them pastries and cookies and they thoroughly appreciated the gesture. They an amazing job.. they don't expect as it is "their job" but they are wonderful and it should be noted.
