2 weeks since surgery and experiencing emotional break downs. whats going on. is this common.
I'm 3 wks from surgery and have them a lot. I totally get what your going through! They say it's common to have a rush of emotions after heart surgery. Just knowing that has helped me understand and accept it. Remember to be patient with yourself and your feelings. You've... Read more.
Sandy, I had my first OHS in Dec 2013 and was warned about the emotional roller coaster and it hit hard. All of my dr's have told me this is normal since I had been so active all the time and now had to "slow down" so I could heal... Read more.
Very common! It's frustrating to have slow progress, fast progress, sleep all the time, even though you have more energy. At two weeks I was still taking two naps a day, small meals, trying to get my digestion back to normal, fighting with my blood about INR, trying to do... Read more.

The falls are in the Yukon Territory and called Million Dollar Falls. It's about an hour from where we live in the summer, Haines, Alaska.
What a beautiful place. It reminds me of a place here on the upper Rogue river. If you are ever driving through Oregon on your way north, stop by.
Welcome Sandy! Prayers and best wishes on your surgery and recovery!!
I also welcome you Sandy! I'm recovering almost 4 weeks post op of mitral valve repair and doing well. You'll get a lot of encouragement, support, and prayers here!
Praying for you Sandy. Look forward to your posts after surgery. Onward & Upward!
Will pray for you during your surgery, Sandy, and waiting to hear good news.
