Jeanette Davidson   He is a Great surgeon with a wonderful reputation. Many years of TOP cardiologist awards. Feeling confident. He's in the process of reading on my records ,reviewing my case, and meeting with the valve team because my case is very complicated. He said that he was astonished with the positive outcome of my first surgery despite all the radiation damage. That leaves all of us very encouraged. So glad I found you this time around. Thank you my ❤️Friend!

Duane Beeman  I rarely get out of my easy chair so I probably wouldn't know if my valve was leaking or not. Going in for a CTA scan in another week, to see if my dissection is still stable. Want to go fishing first though. If I die in my waders, at least I'll float downstream. Hang in there girl

Patrick Dowd  Hello again Jeanette. I am so sorry to hear that you are facing this challenge so soon after your repair. We went through the first one at the same time and you were an encouragement in my Rehab. In the last year I have been studying quite a bit about TAVR valve in valve and valve repair and it seems proceedures are improving day by day and the results excellent.
You demonstrated great strength and confidence during the first procedure and I pray you can draw on that strength again. I will remember you this morning in our community prayers that you will receive the grace to once again find with confidence that inner determination.
When I had complications after my surgery and I really didn't think I would survive and had even resolved myself and given up in pure exhaustion, my daughter came to me and whispered in my ear,"Dad, you are tough....you have always been tough....now you have to kick some ass here." In my semidelirious state I heard her and gave a laugh at her words. I think it was the comeuppance I needed at that moment to dig deep for the strength to keep sucking air.
So I pray for you Jeanette that you find and receive the grace to dig for the confidence, courage and strength to face this hurdle. And then back on to Rehab. You will be in my thoughts and prayers daily. Pat

Jeanette Davidson   Dear Patrick, you just brought tears to my eyes and made me really happy. It's so nice to go back and have the comfort of my old friends on the blog like yourself. Thanks for checking into my surgeon yyes I have heard great things. The last few days I just feel be Willder heard. I cannot even believe this is happening so quickly. I'm not as frightened as I was before I just want it to work and be well to go on with the beautiful life that I have. Patrick Dowd  Good Afternoon Jeanette dear Heart Sister. I hope today brings you good strength and determination. What are you up to? I got in a bike ride and some time in the gym. I'm trying to keep the rehab program goin most every day. I bought a new E-Bike and it is really allowing me to ride more. There are impossible hills between home and anywhere so I havent riden my bike much and it is my favorite exercise. With my ebike I can zip up the hill and get a good ride in and still get good exercise.
What is the schedule like for you going forward? Do you have a date set yet? I do hope you keep me informed.. Of course you are experiencing my worst fear so Im totally in your support corner. Positive thoughts and prayers going your way. You can email me direct any time at paddydowd@comcast.net. Lets keep this support strong! I still hug my heart pillow every night when I sleep. It is like my security blanket. I also have a Freud pillow (perfect for a therapist) when you squeeze it it plays "....tell me about your childhood" Perfect for a therapist!

Great friends and family, amazing dedicated nurses, physical therapists, rehab specialists, cardiologists, surgeons,anastheisologists ( in the shadows keeping us alive through the procedure) interventionists and all of the sundry medical workers......the list would never end. they all together got us to this day to be thankful.
