Great recovery. It's hard to be a spectator when you have always been a paticapant. I saw your pics, no srenotomty. What was your procedure, and what valve did you get? Looks like I'm sidelined again.

Gee you are impressive! No one is saying you are over doing it. I am 11 days out and want to go to the gym but know I can't.

I had aortic valve replacement with on x mechanical valve.

You're lucky you get to take a picture with your surgeon post-op. I wanted the same but my Dr. was out of the country when I went for my post-op follow up.

So you did the minimally invasive. I go Tuesday to finalize my date and see how he is going in. He mentioned right under my right nipple yours is high in the chest but mine is Mitral.

It's the way to go, it hurt fir a few days, they have to spread the space open, but it wasn't bad. I sleep right on it now.
