Diagnosis: Aortic Regurgitation

Well my PCP heard a heart murmur a couple of weeks ago. So I had an echocardiogram and I have been told I have severe aortic regurgitation. So far I believe I am symptom free. I am scheduled for a TEE on 5/27/16. I am a little freaked out as I am only 43 years old husband and father of two. I am not sure if/when I will need surgery. I am trying to locate the best place to have it done in the Boston area. I am also starting to research valve types (although I am hoping for a repair).
