Diagnosed with functionally bicuspid aortic valve when I was 18. Getting ready for surgery at 26. Looks like I am set to have surgery sometime in May or June of this year.
Surgery on May 23. Dr. Ammar Bafi of the Washington Hospital Center repaired the valve.

Shortly after the repair I found out my valve was leaking again. I am currently schedule for a re-op replacement on August 5, 2016 at Cleveland Clinic with Dr. Douglas Johnston. Currently 30 years old.
