Yes, Marie! The "Upcoming Surgery Schedule" Is Now Mobile!
Hi everybody!
I'm getting wonderful feedback from our patient community about the website relaunch on the new HeartValveSurgery.com 5.0 platform. As I mentioned in my previous post, this was a "Phase 1.0" launch of the website that updated over 10,000 pages of information across the website.
Now, we are starting to implement new features across the website. For example, in a recent post in her heart valve journal, Marie Myers asked, "Hey! Where did the upcoming surgeries list go?" As I explained to Marie, there are certain internet devices - smartphones and tablets - that were previously too small to include that special list of patients getting ready for surgery.
That said, I got in touch with my programming team and we developed a new feature where the Upcoming Surgeries Schedule was moved from the sidebar in laptops and desktops straight into the Patient News Feed in smartphones and tablet devices. The great news is... No matter what device you are on, you will always be able to learn about and support those patients getting ready for surgery.
I hope this helped Marie (and perhaps all of us) learn more about the wonderful people in our community.
Keep on tickin!
