One year ago today I went in for surgery to have my bicuspid valve replaced with a mechanical valve as well as replacing part of my ascending aorta due to an aortic aneurysm. I thank God for each and every day he gives me. I currently do waterslides, shoot hoops,... Read more.

Glad to hear you are doing so well! I am having surgery to repair/replace my bicuspid aortic valve and repair my ascending aortic aneurysm on Jul 25 and it is encouraging to hear stories like yours!

God is good all the time and all the time God is good. I am 12 weeks post aortic valve replacement and give thanks each day for all of my blessings. Worry is a form of atheism and we need not worry. Best to you.

Those are all WONDERFUL words Matt. God is good. I THANK him each day many times. I look forward to my one year anniversary too, March 7th 2018. I plan to go rock hunting for 50th bday and 1yr anniversary in Arkansas next yr. By then.. I can do it.... Read more.
