I just realize how much I love life and the second chance i have got. I did my INR test for the blood thinner this week and it came in good but in the higher range of the interval. Can jump a bit but I think it is due to a bit less training during vacation and a few more glasses of beer/wine but still very moderate. We had a welcome back after vacation activity with all my teams at work playing old tradition Swedish games in a park close to work and it felt so good. I had a small speach and I just feel so proud of them and also my self. Also stating that this summer I had vacation compared to the last two which I spent in hospital for surgeries. We also had luck with the weather which you can not take for granted in Gothenburg. Then a bit of tennis with 2 of our kids. (I call them my guardian angels. They were with me in London when I collapsed, son did CPR, and daughter called the ambulance) And now catching the good weather with a healthy barbecue with halibut, monkfish and salmon. And no, It is not always homemade and super healthy, this lunch I just hade to have a Burger King Whopper meal with onion rings,,, I think I deserved that 😊 Doing activities helps me keep away the negative thoughts that sometimes come into my mind like why, how will it be,,,

PK-INR testing this morning. Still well within the range but on the higher side but good according to the med team. Range 2.4 +/- 0.4 or 2.5 +/- 0.5. They have slightly adjusted the dose during last year since I have been in the lower range of the interval. Can have been that I have been training a bit less during vacation and perhaps have taken one more beer or glass of wine compared to non vacation. (Still very moderate). 6 weeks to next test. Conclusion seems to be that if I keep food, training, drinks etc stable and similar over time I can get stable values within the wanted range. Want to share this with other that like me have to take bloodthinners. I really would have liked not to but now it is what it is and so far it works and I live a normal life.
