Even though my surgery was delayed after I was under, I think I am doing pretty good. I take a Tylenol in the morning and a couple of pain killers before going to bed in my bed. I do my exercise and try to move as much as i can. Follow-up visit at cleveland clinic next week. Thanks everyone for your support
I saw my surgeon today and until they are ready to start and change their mind I will having robotic surgery. All staff I talked too thought this was a good way to go. They did mention though I would have a breathing tube in after I wake up. From reading previous posts I had thought this wasn't done so much. Anyway one more day to celebrate
Well all of you where right. I had my heart cath today through my wrist and all went really good. Using the wrist saves a lot of time in both the procedure and recovery. I was on my way home about two hours after I was done.
Getting my heart cath tomorrow. I am being evaluated for robotic surgery for mitral valve repair. The concept of having this less invasive procedure is good but hard to imagine being able to do this through several small incisions.
I had one of the lesions taken off my arm and it healing but have decided to wait after my surgery to get the other one done. The dermatologist would only do one at a time to prevent infection so rather than taking any risks I am waiting. Finally got insurance approval for the heart cath but have not heard anything about surgery, that could be a problem.
