I'm 3 1/2months post op and the last couple of weeks my arms fall asleep when I'm sleeping. I've had pain in my bicep area since the surgery but this is fairly new. Both arms. Anyone else have this problem??
Hi everyone. I had insomnia a while back and read that Lipitor can cause it. So I starting taking in the early day instead of at night. But I still have a restless sleep. I sleep better but just can't stay asleep. My Coumadin clinic said Tylenol pm would be ok, so I take one some nights. Does anyone else have this issue ? It seems to have gotten worse with cardiac rehab. It's like my legs ache and I can't keep the still or get comfortable. But on a good note, the sun is finally out in Virginia. Praise God.
I'm trying to get cardiac rehab started. The insurance company is giving me the run around. So I'm getting ready to call them and get snotty. Tomorrow is 6 weeks for me and all of a sudden I have horrible insomnia. Help. Anyone else. I'm on Coumadin metoprolol and Lipitor.
The Lovanox gave me such horrible headaches so my Doctor admitted me back to hospital and used heparin drip till my inr comes back up. He did a head ct scan first. All was clear. He also said he really hadn't heard of people getting headaches from Lovanox. As a side note he said my brain is asymetrical. Go figure. I think I'll go home tomorrow
My surgery was Tuesday the 15th b. Very rough. I had little energy. I did get an on x replacement valve. They gave me a transfusion on Friday and helped with anemia. I'm ready to go home. I haven't asked the doc when I'll be able to show but I hope soon.
Well I've spoken to all the doctors, interns, anesthesiologist tomorrow morning is my surgery. I feel a little anxious. Not really wanting to eat dinner. Of course it is no salt bland hospital food. Wish me luck. I hope I can sleep a little.
My surgery is next Tuesday. I've been on Coumadin for about a month and half for afib. My nurse called me today and said I need to be admitted Saturday. They will start heparin drip. And I guess stop Coumadin. Has anyone done this.
