About Me

Back in 2013, family doctor asked me if I knew I had a murmur. Told him that I've had it since birth and dismissed his question. It had been asked all my life and never thought anything about it. Fast forward to November 2016, started having breathing difficulties when I did anything strenuous. Continued to the chest pains and left arm throbbing stage and finally decided to do something about it. Explained all this to my cardiologist and he took an EKG. After the results, the cardiologist performed an angiogram on the 15th of June and was diagnosed with Aortic Stenosis. Don't know if the murmur was part of this or not. Hopefully, after two delays, the valve replacement will be done on 7/24. I am so ready to get this over with and anxious to get back to feeling good like I used to do.
