Hi all! Has anyone else named their operation? We've dubbed mine Operation Savage because my family and I are determined to face this surgery and recovery fiercely and with a positive outlook. I'd love to hear what names you've given to this part of your journey!

Sommer is right! You don't have anything to worry about. I'm also amazed at some of the selfies from the mini-s and sternotomy heart warriors - barely noticeable after a little healing.

I'll be using lots of vitamin e, but will also be glad to have a scar that shows what I've come through!!

The scar is definitely indicative of a journey you won't forget. My son got married 4 weeks after my OHS. I went as wore a jacket to rehearsal dinner and my scar showed. It was still quite red. About three weeks later o was at a formal dinner and had... Read more.
