Sommer is right! You don't have anything to worry about. I'm also amazed at some of the selfies from the mini-s and sternotomy heart warriors - barely noticeable after a little healing.

I'll be using lots of vitamin e, but will also be glad to have a scar that shows what I've come through!!

The scar is definitely indicative of a journey you won't forget. My son got married 4 weeks after my OHS. I went as wore a jacket to rehearsal dinner and my scar showed. It was still quite red. About three weeks later o was at a formal dinner and had... Read more.
