Sunday was a rough day. I had very bad reactions to some medicines that caused me to gag and wretch the whole day plus I had hallucinations. I thought people were in my room when no one was. Nurses came in my room and asked me where I was, what... Read more.
Gosh that's a bit rough alright, I hope you feel better soon. On day 3 of my surgery I was sick and dry reaching from the morphine they reduced the dose but it made no difference. After being offered several other pain meds I opted for just panadol knowing it... Read more.
Day2-3 were my worst, I stopped taking all pain meds aside from Tylenol/Toradol due to my low blood pressure but I think the gagging I had once was probably due to the morphine after night 1. I really hope that now that you are off the hard meds, all that... Read more.

Sorry to hear Thomas. Just hang in here. Hope you get over that initial hump soon.
Each day gets better take it slow and easy resting is so important for recovery. It's time to focus on yourself and getting better now.
Totally get it. Things will improve bit by bit, day by day.
Hope this phase will soon pass and find you getting your strength up each day.
