Nancy LeClair Gottlieb I was obsessed when I first got my Fitbit about two years ago. I overdid it. Guess I was doing between 12,000 and 20,000 steps. I was it a group on Facebook. Ended up getting planter fasciitis. Not going to do that again.

Thomas Brusstar Cute baby! Your going to miss picking him up while you recover! My left atrium was also pretty severely dilated pre-surgery, as my crummy mitral valve wasnโt protecting it. The good news is that by the time of the post-op echo done 48 hours post-surgery, the volume of the left atrium was about half of its prior size. Getting close to normal. So the heart starts healing immediately! My right ventricle was also starting to show signs of stress from the pulmonary hypertension caused by the mitral valve. I canโt wait for my next echo, in two weeks (that will be 8 weeks post-op). Hopefully the volumes and pressures all around will be headed toward normal.
