This photo was 2 days after my aortic valve was replaced in OHS. Though all my wires are still dangling, I'm toasting the world - feeling great. This was two and a half years ago and my piggy valve is ticking right along.

This is day 3 after my aortic valve replacement. I was discharged the next day to the loving care of family.

In the hospital for my pre-op heart cath. All the arteries are clear! One more hurtle surmounted. I just hope I can get all my questions addressed at my pre- op conference. My psychologist cousin gave me some relaxation CDs to listen to the two weeks pr

Not much you can do now but follow instructions, trust the doctors and the many team players who will be on your case. Anxiety is normal but I pray God guides your surgeons hands and that you pull through quickly! I am two weeks Post Surgery and feeling pretty good.... Read more.
