Continuing to chase my INR-8 weeks post-op.
I chased mine for almost 6 months. Steady as my heartbeat for the past year though!
I just published a journal a couple of days ago on this subject. It will probably take you about 6 mo. to figure out what causes your inr to differ so much every week and for your body to get use to it. Warfarin can either be the most dangerous... Read more.
Wow, i am so interested in learning more about this. I will be a new warfarin user in September. I will be reading your joural w. Carter and watching your journey with interest Kyle. Keep us posted!
It took me 4 months. Now it's steady. I wish doctors would let patients know that this is normal and that it can take months to stabilise. I had blood tests everyday for about 3 months!
