After having the Ross procedure last year, (replacing my aortic valve with my own pulmonary valve and getting a donor pulmonary valve) I was able to finish the Vermont City marathon this May. Feeling blessed despite the challenges.

Thanks Cheryl! How are you doing these days? I'm still not back where I was (and I developed Achilles tendonitis along the way), but I'm thankful the surgery is behind me.

I'm in the middle, with my hard-earned half marathon medal - my third this fall, almost a year since my Ross Procedure. Happy to be back!

Thanks Neil! Rhonda, this year has been surreal. But a gift - I feel so lucky. I'm so glad you're doing so well now too, after all of the challenges you had during surgery. I was so thankful to see your recovery! And I'm also wondering what to do on... Read more.
