After going to Cardiac Rehab, I deeply believe it has accelerated my recovery and gotten me back to a healthier level than I would have been able to do on my own. Had I followed ALL of their direction strictly, I think I would be even better than I am. I tried to do everything they asked and I did work hard while there. I wasn't as strict on the diet but I did incorporate a lot of it into my routine.

Joey Hardee  Hey Rob! Not all of the detail you see is from the app. That is the Apple Activity app. Info comes from my Apple Watch (series 4). I superimposed the list in yellow with the corresponding yellow numbers in the heart rate graph. It’s a cool app. I am tracking my progress. Feeling really good. Hope all is well with you.

Rob Sparling  Keep that image and do it again in two weeks and a month and again at month three. Things settle down. You will be impressed. Keep the objectivity with that kind of data, Joey. Keep feeling in touch with your heart and trust yourself! Happy for you! You waited and worked hard to get here! ❤️💪

Rose Madura  Great! When I left (after the 2nd readmission) the nurses had those who were able come to their doors to wave goodbye. It was like I was the grand marshal of a parade!

Naomi Gray  Looks nice, Joey! I'm renting one from the local medical supply store for $150/mo. I enjoy my new recovery nest a lot, but not sure if I'll need it after my recovery. I just extended the rental for another month. Enjoy your new nest!

Rob Sparling  Joey, I have to say I popped in to HVS.com this morning to test my memory, specifically thinking about you. What is your date? You are going to like having the chair as an option. I really admire your patience and discipline getting to this stage!

Mike Roskowinski  It’s nice having my recliner. I didn’t get the lift chair as I thought it might be too much for me. Glad I saved and bought the cheapest since spending two weeks in the hospital they taught me how to get in and out of beds and chairs. Especially when I was on lasik to get rid of my extra fluids. You will do great and enjoy the chair. Sleeping can be the hardest thing when you get home so find a place that you can get comfortable and sleep.

Joey Hardee  Thanks all. Rob - Two weeks from today, June 18th. 2 weeks from right now I should be resting (hopefully comfortably) in ICU :-)) I decided to pull the trigger on this chair because I got it for $689.00 at a Memorial Day sale and free delivery. The standard recliners weren't much less. It is quite comfortable. I have drifted off in it already. LOL. Yes, Mike. I am worried about the sleep thing. Mostly because I am a side sleeper. I am gonna try sleeping in the recliner this Friday or Saturday and see if I can sleep on my back for any length of time.

Rob Sparling  Joey, totally agree with the chair! I was anything BUT a back sleeper before the surgery and now do sleep on my back almost exclusively. These things make no sense — they just are what they are. June 18th! Got it. You are now on the ribbon and scrolling into view! We are here for you, Joey! And yes, you will be resting comfortably. 🙏

David Moore  YEP, David the bacon & syrup man loves his new Apple Watch with the latest ECG update. Who knew that he would need that function when I gave him that watch back in October as an early birthday gift. - Cheryl
