The ole Edwards Inspiris Resilia Aortic Valve is doing OK after a year and a half. I'm still working towards an 11 minute mile pace and its a work in progress for sure. I'm no speedster but as I get a little lighter, I get a little faster!

Working toward a 5K in under 40 minutes. Getting close. First 5K (last November) after AVR (last June) took me 56 minutes :-)

After going to Cardiac Rehab, I deeply believe it has accelerated my recovery and gotten me back to a healthier level than I would have been able to do on my own. Had I followed ALL of their direction strictly, I think I would be even better than I am. I tried to do everything they asked and I did work hard while there. I wasn't as strict on the diet but I did incorporate a lot of it into my routine.

I superimposed the list in yellow with the corresponding yellow numbers in the heart rate graph. It’s a cool app. I am tracking my progress. Feeling really good. Hope all is well with you.

First day I made 10K steps since surgery :-) - Great Cardiac Rehab day. From warm up through cool down - 1 hour 10 minutes! Felt great!

I ran these ECG's with my Apple Watch. It certainly is interesting to me that the pre-op ECG looks quite different. I'm not a Doc or a tech but the post-op looks much more like a normal ECG. Wonder if it now shows my valve closing

Mike Roskowinski It’s nice having my recliner. I didn’t get the lift chair as I thought it might be too much for me. Glad I saved and bought the cheapest since spending two weeks in the hospital they taught me how to get in and out of beds and chairs. Especially when I was on lasik to get rid of my extra fluids. You will do great and enjoy the chair. Sleeping can be the hardest thing when you get home so find a place that you can get comfortable and sleep.

Joey Hardee Thanks all. Rob - Two weeks from today, June 18th. 2 weeks from right now I should be resting (hopefully comfortably) in ICU :-)) I decided to pull the trigger on this chair because I got it for $689.00 at a Memorial Day sale and free delivery. The standard recliners weren't much less. It is quite comfortable. I have drifted off in it already. LOL. Yes, Mike. I am worried about the sleep thing. Mostly because I am a side sleeper. I am gonna try sleeping in the recliner this Friday or Saturday and see if I can sleep on my back for any length of time.

These things make no sense — they just are what they are. June 18th! Got it. You are now on the ribbon and scrolling into view! We are here for you, Joey! And yes, you will be resting comfortably. 🙏
