Eddie Patton Sorry no warfarin for me. Went with tissue. I have read in my research going in that alcohol is not off the table on it though it just has to be factored in. I am not the the one to ask, I am sure there are others here that can speak to it.

Bruce Burnett Hi everyone hope everyone is prepared for their up coming surgery and I know that those that have already gone through it are doing well. I can give everyone a better understanding of what happened to me. Early Monday morning June1 I went into OR had my surgery and by evening everyone new there was a problem they started getting me prepped to go back into OR. I got 2 units of blood pushed into me in ICU they has the original team plus back together took me into OR about 9 PM did not wake up till 9 am Tuesday morning, They had given me 4 units of blood in the surgery room. So I am now home almost ready to jog around the block. Getting into shower phew no shower for a week. received a 25 mm St Jude mechanical valve. The wife is more nervous about everything than I am. Would I volunteer again I basically did it twice already and hope I never have to again.
