Seven weeks ago we brought our dog to the pet sitter knowing that we could not adequately care for her during my surgery and early recovery. Well, we got her home today! She was so excited and then promptly fell asleep.
Diane, how wonderful to have your puppy back home with you!
Very nice! My wife's family has a history of keeping Shelties.
Beautiful dog. Ours is going crazy when we are gone for just 5 minutes. He is only 45lb but I couldn't walk him for the first few weeks so my wife had to take care of him. He also has a playdate every week with a dog that is about... Read more.
Oh, Diane, she's gorgeous! I'm so happy for you! Pets can fill a spot in our hearts that nobody else can.
Glad your doggie is home with you now. The excitement wore her out! 😊
So happy for you. We are trying to figure out how to care for our pup when the time for surgery comes.
She's only 17 pounds but my husband has some disabilities and can't walk her. Plus, it's winter in Wisconsin. I'm still worried about falling when I'm out with her but just trying to be cautious.
Treadmill candidate. You and the dog. Have husband make 2 plywood panels for sides of treadmill and dog will trot in place. Takes a little food training of course.

That sloth around my neck is one of those things you warm up in the microwave. Great for stiff neck when your movement is limited!
You're looking super! And you came home on the 12th day of Christmas - a gift for your family and loved ones for sure!
