63yo. Had a bit of chest pain walking up our driveway at the end of June 2022. Stress test RN heard a murmur and canceled the test. Echocardiogram showed moderate aortic stenosis. Got a second opinion from Stanford. They recommended Dobutamine stress echocardiogram and suspected paradoxical low-flow, low-gradient stenosis and that I was actually severe. I had that test 2 days ago (January 2023) and it confirmed the suspicion. Aortic valve replacement should be in March.
