Last weekend was a big milestone in my recovery. I completed my first half marathon with my new valve 7 months after surgery, in a reasonably respectable time.
It was tough but I was delighted to make it round and I also managed to raise some money for the hospital... Read more.

Congrats Alex! You have my admiration. I'm an endurance cyclist and want to get back to that after my March 28 surgery. 😊
