Dr. Eric Roselli, Patricia and I Connect at the National College Football Playoff!

As many of you know... I became friends with Dr. Eric Roselli, the Chief of Adult Cardiac Surgery at the Cleveland Clinic, in the 1990s at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor.

That said, it was great to see Dr. Roselli in Houston on Monday when our Michigan Wolverines beat the Washington Huskies to become national college football champions for the first time since 1997. Woo-Hooo!!!

It's always great to see Dr. Roselli, talk about old times and discuss the wonderful patient-centric work he is doing specific to valvular heart disease and aortic aneurysms. Click here to see several educational videos that Dr. Roselli and I have filmed together.

A Serendipitous Connection with Patricia?

What made this fun meetup with Dr. Roselli a bit serendipitous was that Patricia Miller, a patient who is scheduled to have surgery with Dr. Roselli on January 23, had just posted a question in our online community.

So... To show our support for Patricia, Dr. Roselli and I took the opportunity to snap a photo (see above) and send it to Patricia. It was great to receive an immediate response from Patricia which is posted below.

In advance, many thanks to Dr. Eric Roselli and his entire team for taking care of Patricia! My thoughts are with Patricia now and especially on January 23!
