Melissa Causey, 11 Months After Ross Procedure Surgery… Feeling Great!!!

There is nothing better than hearing from one of my readers after their open-heart surgery recovery is complete.

Recently, I received a very nice note from Melissa Causey. As you might remember, Melissa had a Ross operation in 2006 by Dr. William Ryan in Texas. She attached a recent picture that I have posted below.

FYI, here is a picture of Melissa just three days after her Ross Procedure in the hospital.

Hi Melissa,

I have an appt. with Dr. Ryan on Wednesday to discuss the Ross Procedure. My husband and I met with Dr, Oswalt in Austin and he believed I was a good candidate for this type of surgery. I have a stenotic aortic valve (bicuspid) but am asymtomatic. I would love to hear you thoughts on Dr. Ryan, the surgery and recovery.

I understand you are 6 years post surgery and wondered how you are doing. I hope very well! This blog has been so very helpful! Look forward to corresponding with you.
