Good morning Adam just curious are there any mitral valve repair surgeons in the San Francisco area?

Not jumping in on your question as Adam has most insight. I found Dr. Castro, Dr. Khan, and Dr. Woo are the names I found.
Hi Robert, Yes, Douglas just named a few that I know (Dr. Castro and Dr. Khan) and Dr. Woo (who I do not know). Hope that helps!

Hi Robert - Stanford worth a consult. His staff are really good and you will learn a lot. (Free consult for out of towners.) I, personally, quickly moved on. That said, some folks on here are very happy with him. People seem to like Castro.
PS Robert - Don't forget there is a newer robotic center at Davis/Sacramento, and then there are three storied centers in greater LA, Shemin at UCLA (robotic), Starnes at USC Keck and Chikwe at Cedars. All notable. As an out of stater, Cedars was very unresponsive and refused to even... Read more.
