Next week will mark my 6 year anniversary of aortic heart valve replacement and aorta repair. For a year this site leading up to my surgery was my hope and comfort reading all of the great success stories, and I have been amiss in not following up.
Dr. Joseph Lamelas was my surgeon. My heart valve installed was the Inspiris Resilia aortic valve. I went home 3 days after surgery.
Last week's appointment with cardiologist was all good news. No issues to date
I will try to do better in years to come. Thank you Adam Pick.

Headed to kinder with kids & Becky Mixed emotions about surgery. Read enough to know not a cake walk but tired of living with a time bomb
