Patricia, I have several physical abnormalities, let's just put it that way. I was born without cartilage in the top part of one of my ears and had to have plastic surgery. My rib cage is quite pronounced, I guess you could say that I am barrel chested. I didn't stop growing when I should have and my legs and arms are out of proportion to my body. When thin I look like a scarecrow. None of that ever ever proved to be an impediment to finding love and by that I don't mean just the physical stuff. I had a very poor self-image, and I thought that my appearance would put anyone off, but to my surprise it never NEVER did, or at least it didn't matter to the people that matter. I have been married to the love of my life for over 30 years and we have two wonderful children. My abnormalities aren't me. Your scar isn't you. You WILL find someone to whom the scar won't matter - you will matter to them.
