OK, trying to stay calm, but have to admit I'm a little nervous about my surgery on Monday! I'm no sure what to expect and nervous about the tubes and stuff....my surgery is minimally invasive with incision on right side and heart lung machine in groin artery! Anyone have any advice for me?
Hi everyone. I haven't posted much because I found out I have an eye problem. Had to have an injection in one of my eyes yesterday...yuk! Went well, wasn't as bad as I feared, and done for 4 weeks at least. Now I have to concentrate on my upcoming valve surgery. Been reading some of the post and so glad to see all the support given! As this is my first experience coming up with heart surgery, I don't feel I have anything to add but my support and prayers for everyone. I've been trying to follow your posts and I think of each of you on your surgery days. My surgeon says he's going to give me an incision on my right side to replace my aortic valve and also an incision by my groin for the heart lung machine. Anyone else have this experience? Thanks for any advice.
