Morning...checking in. Echo was good but pressure across the valve is up from 18 to 21. I see them again next year for an echo and of course as always if something changes I call them.

wow, is that great news, Lynn!! Thanks for the update. So, was there actually no heart murmur to be heard, unlike what your primary doc thought?

Did they explain what it meant to be up from 18 to 21? Not having to go back for a year sounds encouraging. Stay healthy, Lynn! ~❤️

Morning everyone. It has been over a year and I am going this morning for my 2nd Echo since my AVR. I am a bit nervous about this echo. My GP said I have a murmur. Thought I got rid of that. I did read though that it does happen.... Read more.

Yes, they know the results almost as soon as you have the echo. I know this because when i had my mgh echo, the cardiologist would see me right after to review the findings. Possible down under they have a different system that takes longer.

I'm thankful that we have MyChart here. Results are posted as soon as they are read. Most times, you'll see before the doctors do. Lynn, I hope it's nothing to worry about. Don't assume the worst. I know it's easy for me to say. I'll be praying for you 🙏

Thinking of you, Lynn. Hopefully it won't lead into a bigger problem. I also got the same news, but my cardiologist said it's nothing to worry about right now. Sending prayers up for you that you can find peace while waiting for your results. ~❤️
