Linda, you look amazing! Happy for your discharge and hope your recovery continues smoothly. I'm jealous of your heart pillow. The Cleveland Clinic ran out, so I didn't get one. But as my husband said, the heart that matters most isn't a pillow! ❤️

Had mitral and tricuspid valve repair plus maze procedure and left atrial appendage closure on Thursday, Feb 3rd. Discharged home Monday, 2/6. Surgery went as planned. Recovering now at home. Hi Linda….wonderful news and glad you are doing so well! Did your procedures require a sternotomy? I am also having mitral and tricuspid repair at Cleveland Clinic on April 4. I wish you continued strength during your recovery!! ❤️🩹

Sue Star…..my surgeon Dr Chikwe uses a minimally invasive approach via the DaVinci robot, with a mini right thoracotomy.

Wow, that's a fantastic in and out rate. Didnt realize so much repair could be done via the minimally invasive approach. Congrats! On to cardiac rehab in coming weeks!

From one nurse to another, I wish you a smooth journey through surgery and recovery! I will be celebrating my 5th anniversary in March. The whole experience is doable, and was not as "bad" as my worrying mind would have me believe..Looking forward to your post-op notes!

Linda, I had your exact surgery this week in Cleveland. Everything went perfectly and I'm ready for release tomorrow. You have an excellent surgeon and will sail through this! Prayers coming your way as you recover.
